What we do and offer

We strive to make the day to day battles with project management software easier for architects and designers. We bring solutions in which the relevant architectural data they use is integrated directly in the software. Our BIMTech Tools represent a tool-kit that processes every single construction product and transforms it into a user-friendly form for architects.

Functionality

Construction details

Construction details

A commonly distributed architectural data. We cooperate with the cad-detail.cz server, the biggest Czech provider of construction detail.

Functionality:

Thanks to this, the architects can insert the relevant detail with just one click – without any complicated search of the correct section on the website.

Sandwich Constructions

It is a formation that consists of building materials with defined thickness. The project management softwares call it a sandwich construction, we employ the same term when dealing with designers and architects.

Functionality:

It creates a sandwich construction in a project management software, including materials and texture surfaces. It is matched up with IFC parameters as they are either defined in a sandwich or calculated by the architects.

Calculations:

The heat passage, systemic thermal bridges, steam condensation within the construction according to Czech technical norms and technical standards, the screed thickness

Building Materials

Building Materials

Should your product not have the exact shape specified, it is likely to be a building material. In terms of project management softwares, building material includes the individual elements of assemblies, typically walls, palstering, insulation and concrete.

Functionality:

It creates building material in a project management software, including its constructional and physical properties. The surface material can be attached altogether with the texture and colour palette.

Calculations:

Radon, the thickness of screed

Parametric Objects

Typically, BIM objects, sometimes BIM libraries. 3D elements, such as furniture, windows or caps. These elements often include (in most software solutions) certain parameters which enable the user to set multiple lengths in the product properties etc.

Functionality:

With just one click, we can download and save the object and its parameters straight into the project.

Colour Charts

Colour Charts

Should you provide the architects with your own colour palette, and ideally, associate it with the relevant building material, you can receive orders in your own palette, not just in RAL colours.

Functionality:

It inserts a surface material or appearance straight into the architects's project, including the set RGB value or, if that is the case, the texture.

Textures

Due to miscommunication we have experienced in the past in terms of what texture is, we decided to include a short explanation: a texture is an image (JPEG or PNG) amended in a way that once multiple images are next to each other (as if on a chessboard), the transition between the individual pieces is not visible, so the whole structure is perceived as a single image. The common mistakes include the so-called texture mapping in which transition might be smooth yet the content or shadow is not balanced, so in a bigger area, they form a pattern. Texture is important, particularly when an architect wishes to present its appearance to a client in a 3D modelling.

Functionality:

It is a part of a generated surface material or appearance, set with true measurements and properties of a product it represents.

Four reasons for having your products in BIMTech Tools

1. Architects and designers use ArchiCAD, Revit or AutoCAD

If you are not familiar with these programs, then this is for you. Architects, architectural planners, and designers are at home with them. And it is they who specify project documentation, hence, directly influencing the investor. Wouldn’t you like it if they used your products? BIMTech Tools enable them to generate the products directly into the project.

2. BIM and legislation

BIM is a progressive technology that currently moves the building industry. Seven EU countries have already made BIM usage mandatory for architectural planning as the requirements and standards this activity must meet are increasingly more demanding. The users of various architectural software will be gradually more in need of objects and structures specified by their producer. Such elements can be found in our add-on.

3. Keep up with the competition and latest trends

Some producers have already realised that television or broadcasting are not the only channels for an efficient commercial. It is vital to adapt to modern processes and technologies and to market your brand in new, more efficient ways. Become a part of the revolutionary BIMTech Tools, be visible and support the cooperation between yourselves, designers, and investors.

4. Our know-how

If you are still wondering why you would be interested in being included in BIMTech Tools, do not hesitate to contact us. We would be more than happy to show you what we do and to find an ideal solution for your products. In the meantime, watch our videos to see how the add-on works.
