Facade insulation anchoring design in Archicad and Revit programs

Do you need to design the façade insulation anchorage according to the wind load? You can easily achieve this in the new version of the BIMTech Tools add-on.

In Archicad and Revit, when selecting a sandwich, select the "Anchor design" section. Here, the required parameters such as the type of substrate, thermal insulation material, type of assembly, adhesive thickness, etc. can be specified according to the specific sender. Subsequently, you can select a specific supported dowel type and insert the composition into the project by default.

When using the masonry seat composition, the previously defined anchoring parameters are then automatically loaded. The design can be finalized by clicking on the new "Wind load" icon. In the displayed window, select the project geolocation, the standard for calculating the anchorage and press "Generate".

Objects with anchorage are then generated on the respective walls, with a description of the number of dowels per m² in individual parts of the structure.
